All VISA and Master Card users, please enter your card details and proceed transaction with pre-selected consent. Upon successful transaction you should be able to see your saved card. If still you cannot see your card in saved cards please reach out to us.
There are different ways to tokenize your cards
1) Saved cards - While doing any transaction through saved cards you just need to continue with consent which we have pre-selected for you and post successful transaction we will tokenize the card for you.
2) New Card - While doing any transaction you can simply proceed the transaction with consent 'Securely saved my card details' which we have pre-selected for you and upon successful transaction we will tokenize your new card for you.
3) My Account - You can go to Saved card section under my accounts and list of cards will be available to you. Now out of list of saved cards the cards against which you see the option of Re-validate, you can just enter your CVV and proceed with Re.1 transaction which is completely refundable. Post successful transaction your card will be validated with us.
If the card is not validated, you won’t be able to continue using a particular saved card with PurnPay. You will need to go through hassle of re-entering your complete card details when doing transaction on PurnPay.
That’s okay - If you are not okay to give consent. However, it is recommended as through this your card will be tokenize with more security as per RBI guidelines and additionally you won’t be needing to enter your card details with us next time you transact.
No charges - There are no charges to tokenize your card.
We are sorry, post 30th June 2022, as per RBI guideline we won’t be able to keep your card saved with us until it is tokenized by you. However, we would recommend you to tokenize your card as it enhances the security on your card and you can continue using saved cards benefits.
Yes, Tokenization is introduced and recommended by RBI in order to enhance security on customers card.
As per RBI guidelines, post 30th June 2022 - Aggregators or Merchants cannot save customers card details until customer provides the consent for the same. Validating your card is a consent through which security on your card will be enhanced and you can continue using saved card services with PurnPay.
There is no limit on saved cards - User can save and validate as many cards they want.
